These terms apply when you use ukpedia24.com, including the guides, tools, prayer times and business directory. By using the site you agree to them. In short: the site gives general information and estimates, not legal or immigration advice; check the official source before you apply, pay or sign; and use the directory honestly.
What the site is for
UKpedia24 publishes general information about living in the United Kingdom. Our tools give estimates within the scope stated on each tool. They do not decide whether you qualify for a visa, settlement, a tax position or a benefit, and using them does not create a professional relationship between you and UKpedia24.
No legal or immigration advice
Nothing on this site is legal, immigration, tax or medical advice. Rules change, and your circumstances may differ from the assumptions a calculator uses. Before you apply, pay a fee or sign a contract:
- Check the official page we link, such as GOV.UK or the NHS.
- For your own immigration case, use a regulated adviser. GOV.UK states that all immigration advisers must be registered with the Immigration Advice Authority (IAA) or be a member of an approved professional body. Find an immigration adviser ↗.
Acceptable use
You may read, share and link to our pages. You must not:
- try to access other people’s data, accounts or the site’s administration area;
- send automated requests that overload the tools or the directory, or scrape the site in bulk;
- use the contact form or the directory to send spam, abuse or unlawful content;
- copy our pages and republish them as your own.
We may block access that breaks these rules.
Your data in the tools
Most tools save your information only in your browser. If you clear your browser data or change device, it is gone, so keep an exported backup. External data, such as exchange rates or the sponsor register, may sometimes be unavailable. When that happens the tool tells you, rather than showing an invented figure. The privacy policy explains what data we receive.
The business directory
- Accounts: you need a free account to add a business. One account can hold up to 5 businesses. Keep your password safe; you are responsible for activity on your account.
- Your content: you confirm that the details you submit are accurate, that you are allowed to list the business, and that the listing does not break any law or anyone else’s rights. You allow us to display, format and translate the listing on the site.
- Review and moderation: every listing added by a business owner is reviewed before it is published. Basic listings imported from open OpenStreetMap data are shown as they appear in that source, without an individual review of each one. We may edit, refuse, suspend or remove a listing that is inaccurate, misleading, incomplete or outside the directory’s scope, including after it has been published.
- No endorsement: a listing is not a recommendation. Any agreement you make with a listed business is between you and that business. Check professional registration yourself.

Paid featured listings
- Standard listings are free. A featured listing is a paid placement, shown at the top of its region and category pages and on the directory front page, and labelled “Ad”.
- Prices and durations are shown on the featured listing page. The price shown when you order is the price you pay.
- Your listing must be approved before it can be featured. Payment is arranged manually after you choose a duration in your account. Featuring starts within one business day of payment being confirmed.
- If a featured listing is removed for breaking these terms, the featured period ends with it.
- For questions about a payment, a cancellation or a refund, contact us.
Liability
We work hard to keep the site accurate, but we cannot promise that every page is complete or up to date on the day you read it. We are not responsible for decisions you make based on the site without checking the official source, or for the services of businesses listed in the directory or of websites we link to. The site is free and may sometimes be unavailable.
Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law, such as liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence, and nothing affects your legal rights as a consumer.
Changes and governing law
We may update these terms when the site changes. The version on this page applies from the review date below. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring a claim in your local courts.
