How it compares with the real test

According to GOV.UK ↗, the real test has 24 questions, you have 45 minutes, and you need 75% or more to pass, which means at least 18 correct answers. Each practice test here also has 24 questions, and you can switch on a 45-minute timer.

What the questions cover

Real test questions are based on the official handbook, Life in the United Kingdom: A Guide for New Residents. We wrote our own questions from facts checked against official and reliable sources, on the same subjects: British values and principles, the four nations and their symbols, history from prehistoric times to the modern day, modern society (religion, festivals, sport and the arts), and government, the law and your role as a resident.

These tests help you revise but do not replace reading the official handbook, because real questions can come from any part of it. We are not an official body and have no connection with the official test.
